Beans, beans...



So, once a week I try and post a recipe that is good for you, easy to make, and minimum amount of dishes!  This one has a few more dishes but it's definitely worth it... Eat up, don't be shy!!



                                                HUMMUS.......

1- 15oz can of chick peas ( drain and rinse )
2  ( or more if you like ) cloves of garlic, peeled
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup tahini
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 cup cilantro ( wash and pat dry  )
1/2 teaspoon red chili peppers or paprika ( a bit more if you like it HOT )
Sea salt to taste
Olive oil

Place peas, garlic, lemon juice and water in food processor or blender...
Gradually add enough olive oil to make hummus moist, but not sloppy
Stir in tahini and spices...

Serve as mayo on a sandwich, use as a dip for veggies, bread, crackers, pita chips, corn chips, or chicken wings...






Suggested beverage...  Red or White wine, cold beer, ice water w/ cumcumber & lemon...
